Making a form look great with Multi Select

Updated: Dec 11, 2019

Data Capture Hints And Tricks

In my previous blog about segment controls, I talked about how to use the Radio Button control. Radio buttons are great when it comes to collecting pieces of data, however, they only allow you to select one option. So, what if we wanted to choose more than one option? Well, we use the Multi-Select tool!

I’ve created a simple form called “11 – Making a form look great with multi-select”, and added a Header to start.

I then dragged the Multi-Select tool and placed it within the Form Designer. The Form-field properties panel allows you to adjust the behaviour of the tool, from here, select the entries box and insert your list of entries. The ‘Caption’ box will allow you to give your field a name, I’ve called mine ‘What cars have you owned before.’
