Vodafone has confirmed that it will be bringing the LG Optimus 3D to UK shores as soon as it’s released. The news comes ahead of the Android device’s official unveiling at MWC 2011 in just under two weeks, and not long after LG confirmed the existence of the device.
The network operator couldn’t provide any price or release date information, or confirm whether the Optimus 3D would be made available on Pay As You Go deals. Still, this marks the first official confirmation that British users will be able to obtain the phone in their home country.
The Optimus 3D is set to offer, in LG’s words, “a full 3D experience right in the palm of their hands.” As well as a fancy glasses-free 3D display, the Android-powered handset will boast a dual-lens camera, allowing you to create your own 3D content. You’ll be able to share this 3D content quickly and easily thanks to HDMI and DLNA connectivity.
