The mobile phone operator, T-Mobile has recently listed the imminent arrival of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro on their website, with the phone being available to customers from July.
Many mobile users had been enquiring about when this QWERTY keyboard-enhanced, Google Android handset would be available in the UK, and now they have their answer.
The Xperia X10 Mini Pro is much smaller than the Xperia X10 and there is a significant improvement in the battery life of the handset. It is hoped that the smartphone will be kitted out with the latest version of Android (2.2), rather than 1.6. We will just have to wait and see, although we do know that it will boast a 600MHz processor, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a 5 megapixel auto-focusing camera.
Following soon after the release of the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini, T-Mobile have moved quickly to pacify users looking to get the very latest in smartphones. Along with the BlackBerry Pearl 3G, the operator has built up quite a portfolio of smartphone devices for its personal and business customers in the UK.
Released at a similar time to the Xperia X10 Mini Pro from Sony Ericsson, Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9105 is their first smartphone to offer a standard mobile keypad.
