Acer, the big presence in laptops has 7 and ten inch devices planned for April 2011. The flagship 10.1 incher has an impressive feature list including a dual-core 1GHz processor, an HDMI output, 1280×800 screen resolution, 5 megapixel rear camera, an ‘HD’ front-facing camera for video calling and multi-touch support, enabling its use for data capture and a whole host of other possibilities.
The 7-inch version is the same except for the screen size, packing a dual core CPU, DLNA technology, WiFi and integrated 3G. The firm has also just revealed a new 4.8 ‘smartphone tablet’ to launch at the same time as the other new devices. Interesting concept, easily one of the biggest phones ever launched.
