Leading Australian training organisation, Dillon Whitelaw has selected Manchester-based WorkMobile’s award-winning mobile data capture solution as a key platform for its mobile workforce transformation.
The nationally accredited training organization specialising in Community Pharmacy qualifications, which is head-quartered in Melbourne, Australia, has adopted the WorkMobile tool to replace paper-based methods of data collection, as it aims to overhaul its training processes and workforce management.
As all field trainers must complete mandatory assessments on their students before they gain their qualifications, Dillon Whitelaw recognised the benefits of switching to a digital solution to standardise report forms and ensure essential trainee information is accurately collected.
Following a successful trial period using the cloud-based application, Dillon Whitelaw has selected WorkMobile as its digital forms platform to help manage its field-based trainers, who are based all over Australia, and to improve how assessment information is captured and reported. Adopting the mobile technology has enabled Dillon Whitelaw to become more agile and improve the accuracy of its reports, meaning that data can be sent to the head office more quickly and accurately.
The standard version of WorkMobile was used during the initial deployment, but a custom-built tool has now been developed to meet Dillon Whitelaw’s bespoke requirements. All jobs can now be allocated automatically to remote workers at the touch of a button, saving time and money.
Using a digital form to capture the information for essential training documents reduces the risk of data being lost or incorrectly collected, enabling businesses to meet the legal compliance requirements that govern the registered training industry. The app, which allows workers to capture data in real-time,can be accessed via the users’ smartphones, tablets, laptops or PCs.
