iPhone and Android Beta goes live in the US. Google has announced a beta version of its Google Instant search technology for iPhone and Android smartphones in the US. Google Instant launched on the web in September, displaying dynamic search results as people type their query. US IOS and Android users can access the beta from Google’s mobile website, although they’ll have to turn the feature on first.
The beta currently requires phones to be running the iOS 4.x OS or Android 2.2, but more countries, languages and devices are promised in the coming months.
